Don't Post It is a photo party game. We keep what we collect to the minimum the game needs, we delete game photos quickly, and we never sell your data or show you ads. Questions? Email support@dontpostit.com.

Playing on one phone

When you play on a single phone, the pics you pick stay on that phone. Nothing is uploaded, and the pics are cleared from the game when it ends.

Playing online: what we collect

• A random player ID. The app signs you in anonymously (no email, phone number or password) so the game knows which player is you.
• The name you type, shown to the other players and on leaderboards.
• The pics you choose for a game. They're shrunk and uploaded so the other players in your room can see them.
• Chat messages you send in a game.
• Leaderboard stats: games played, wins, losses, streaks, posts, and the IDs of players you've played with (so leaderboards only show your friends).
• Reports. If you report a chat message, we keep the message and who reported it so we can review it.

How long we keep it

• Game pics and chat can only be seen by the players in that room. They're deleted when the host closes the game, your own pics are deleted when you leave, and anything left over is deleted automatically within about 24 hours.
• Your name and leaderboard stats are kept until you ask us to delete them.
• Reports are kept as long as needed to keep the game safe.

What we don't do

• No ads, no tracking across other apps or websites, and we never sell or rent your data.
• We don't access your location or contacts.
• The app only reads the specific photos you pick, uses the camera only when you tap to take a pic, and only saves to your Photos when you choose to save a collage.

Who handles the data

• Google Firebase runs our game servers (sign-in and the game database). Data is encrypted in transit and protected by security rules so only players in a room can see its pics and chat.
• Apple handles all purchases. We never see your payment details.
• When you post a collage to Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok or anywhere else, it's shared through that app and its own privacy policy applies. Don't Post It doesn't keep a copy.

Kids

Don't Post It is meant for ages 13 and up. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 has played online, email us and we'll delete their data.

Your choices and rights

You can play on one phone without uploading anything. To see, correct or delete your name, leaderboard stats or other data, email support@dontpostit.com and we'll take care of it, usually within 7 days. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU), you may have additional rights to access or delete your data; we honor those requests for everyone.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above, and we'll tell you in the app if the change is significant.
